Santa Train

This year my mom and I took the kids on the Northwest Santa Train. It traveled from North Bend to Snoqualmie. Santa was there of course when we arrived along with fun activities for the kids to do. We got to go in some Army Medic train cars and the kids got to tour inside the conductor's locomotive car to see how it works. It was a treat for the kids for Christmas and my mom and I kept it a total surprise until we got there. The kids all got train whistles from Santa.

here are some more holiday pictures. Kyle, Ashley, Sage & Ryland spent the weekend with us before Christmas. The cousins had fun playing together and the adults enjoyed catching up. It was a nice relaxing weekend.

Christmas time

Wow, I can not believe that I have not posted for a month. Time sure has flown by and it is already a new year! Christmas time was wonderful as always. The holidays are a special time for everyone. It is fun being a mom now and getting to be Santa for the kids. You just see the awe and wonder in their faces during Christmas time. Granters was very lucky and received two remote control vehicles which he is facinated by and a remote control boat as well. So far the boat works well in the bathtub and will have to wait until summertime to go outside. Kaitlyn is into cutting hair and doing makeup. As most of you know the cutting hair has been her own, her brothers or the cat. yes, I said the the cat. So this year we decided to get her a doll where she can cut the hair and put makeup on it. By Christmas evening the doll already had a haircut. She actually did a pretty good job and said she wanted it to look like Rachel (Bennett). All in all a great Christmas with friends and family.
