checking the cows

We have one cow who is going to have a calf any day now. The other day I was looking out the kitchen window with the binoculars since she was laying down in the lower pasture. So the kiddos had to get up on the counter and use their binoculars also.

At the park

We spent last Saturday evening at the park. The kids have swimming lessons twice per week and this park is right behind the pool. They have been wanting to play there for a while now. We even took the dog with us and he had a good time as well. He loves to climb on the equipment with the kids.

Time to clear the road....

Nothing better than a fresh dirt pile and some tractors... This is Grant's favorite place to play lately! Such an outside boy!

Yesterday he and Kaitlyn buried some worms in this dirt pile that he found at Grandma and Grandpas.

Daddy's work

Last weekend we went to town to play at the park while Daddy went to work for a few hours. He even gave the kids a ride in the Terragator around the parking lot for a bit. It was the highlight of their week!!

Okay, so Kaitlyn's teacher sent home a list for each parent. The teacher had asked each child to finish the beginning of some famous sayings.. These are Kaitlyn's sayings...

Is it winter or spring...

Okay. this is the view from our front door on March 28th. It snowed all day! So the next day (Saturday morning) the kids wanted to go play in the snow. So out of the closet I got out the snowpants, heavy coats and snowboots. I thought for sure that winter was over with. Even the dogs looked at me through the sliding glass door like "what is going on with this!" I think it took everyone by surprise. Thank goodness this week we are back to the normal tempretures and yesterday it was even 60 degrees. Time for tulips and gardening! wahoo
