Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful mother's day. Went to brunch with everyone in the family, and took a nap in the afternoon (yes, I took a nap!! my once a year treat). Even had a BBQ beside the lake and went fishing with my mom and dad & Becca and Justin. It was a nice calm evening for fishing (which means no wind if you live here!) All I know is it was a perfect day.

What a wonderful time for Clara's birthday! She looks amazing and the weather was perfect. Fun to visit with family that we don't see too often. Kaitlyn and Grant had a blast with Sage & Ryland on Friday night and Saturday. Here is a video of the kids. They had Kasey's shop stool, a tow rope tied on it, and were pulling each other around the shop. Ashley and I decided they should have helmets on at least since they were pulling each other around in circles and dumping off the "riders". Sure wish we lived closer to everyone!!

Water bug...

The 1st graders all get to have swim lessons for two weeks in April. What a great opportunity to teach water skills to those kids who have not been exposed water very much and it is neat the District provides this session. My daughter on the other hand is such a water bug and so is her brother. Kaitlyn is very proud because she knows how to swim underwater.
