Lind Combine Derby

Kasey, Kaitlyn and I went to the Lind Combine Derby a few weeks ago. What a blast that was! Weather was perfect also. Kasey's friend Chip was in the Derby and did a great job. Kaitlyn's blue tongue is from the shaved ice. The $4 we paid for a shaved ice was worth every penny as it was really hot in the grandstands. I can't wait to take Grant with us next year!

Lippizaner Stallions

A few weeks ago my mom took Kaitlyn and I to see the Lippizaner Stallions. It was a really good show. If you are a horse person it was interesting to watch all the lead changes and the riders using their legs to control the horse without any rein movement. Here is a picture of Kaitlyn while we were waiting. It was just a girl trip too since Grant was fishing with Grandpa.

1st Grade program about Animals

Kaitlyn had her 1st grade program about Animals a few weeks ago. She was a speckled frog (on a rolling log... for those of you who know the song). Her costume had the cutest frog eyes on top of the hood. So cute!
